1. Extra battery
Almost all cameras are going to come with a battery or will require you to have a battery. But the last thing you want to have happen on vacation is you run out of battery. 2. Battery charger
To make sure that your batteries are fully charged prior to going out, look into purchasing a recharger for your batteries. This way you can always have full batteries going out and a spare set of batteries charged as well.

3. Extra memory
If you plan on taking a minimal amount of pictures, you can get away with a memory stick or card of some sort. Many of these come with plenty of room for a normal day. But if you are going on vacation or a special event, you do not want to have to choose between certain pictures just to be able to take more.

4. Editing software
Although it takes away from the originality, the beauty of digital cameras is the pictures do not have to be perfect. This is a digital camera accessory that is not necessary, but can be beneficial. This allows you to touch up any picture including adding graphics, eliminating red eye, and adding effects.

5. Photo printer and paper
Instead of having to deal with a camera shop, why not have your own printer and paper. This way you can instantly start printing off your pictures on quality paper right from your home. Eliminate the hassle of having to go out and spend a fortune printing at a camera store.

6. Camera bag
The last accessory Jared Lansky wants you to know about is a camera bag. Having a camera bag allows you to keep your camera, extra batteries, extra memory and anything else you may have all together. This will also help you stay organized and eliminate the chance of losing anything.

There are a plethora of digital camera accessories you can look into, but these are some of the most common accessories. Having a digital camera is nice, but to ensure you get all the pictures you want at the quality you want them, look into adding some accessories.
